Welcome to Elementum Photography!
'Elementum' is Latin for element. For me it refers to the components that make up a photograph: compositional elements, objects and persons, as well as 'the elements' or weather, lighting and ambiance. It also relates to my vision of photography: use as simple components as possible to convey an idea, concept or view. In other words, less or simpler is more.
Photography is an amazing way to vent and explore creativity and vision of the world around us. The ability to catch patterns, unexpected things, views and to let my mind compose at free will — a few of the many reasons I am hooked on photography.
